Smaller Earth sends several committed individuals to Australia every year so that they may participate in volunteer projects in Queensland and along the Great Barrier Reef. Said projects last anywhere between 2 and 8 weeks and focus particularly on conservation and community development initiatives. Smaller Earth Volunteer Programs in Australia:
Conservation Projects: This program, which lasts between 6 to 8 weeks, has volunteers participate in conservation projects in Queensland. Some projects include tree planting, helping out endangered species, and environmental monitoring.
Marine Conservation: This program, which lasts only 2 weeks, focuses more on tackling the problems that negatively affect the flora and fauna along the Great Barrier Reef.
Adventure and Conservation Expedition: Like the above programs, this option has volunteers contribute time to environmental conservation. However, this 4 week program also includes several activities like snorkeling and water rafting that make the trip even more meaningful.

The experience volunteering in the Australian outback is just an experience for us to explore and to cherish. You mingle with the local wildlife while learning about the mystical cultures of the Aussie aboriginal people. Amazing team of volunteer coordinators to make your stay an eventful one by contributing in environmental conservation tasks while also enjoying the beautiful adventures in the outback
