Program Description
Animal Research Project in the Brazilian Pantanal
Description
Volunteering in Brazil with this wildlife conservation project gives you the chance to assist professional researchers collecting data on wild animal populations within the Brazilian pantanal wetlands. In particular, you will learn how the peccary populations are being affected by local cattle ranching methods and deforestation in the area while helping to implement initiatives that work to combat these affects. Being directly involved with the wildlife research will grant you intimate access to one of the world's most biologically diverse regions and will definitely be an unforgettable experience.
