Program Description

Forest Gardens/Schools' Environmental Clubs

Description

This volunteer position has to do with helping local community families with putting up forest gardens and coordinating with one of our school's environmental clubs in the province. Volunteers would have enough extra time to mix with the people and learn their culture.

Highlights

Volunteers will go into local communities, meet the families involved in the project and will be involved in advising/giving them first hand information on the setting up, management and maintenance of forest gardens, visit our secondary and primary schools, coordinate their club activities. The club activities will demand a lot of creativity and self reliance from the volunteer.
