GVN - Guatemala Volunteer Program

Description

The Global Volunteer Network currently has opportunities to work on a range of projects in Guatemala. Volunteers can become involved in healthcare, childcare, teaching, construction and animal care / animal rights projects.

All volunteers will be based in La Antigua, one of the most popular destinations for tourist and Guatemalans alike, and is famous for the preservation of its colonial architecture, a UNESCO world heritage site.

Volunteers may choose to work in the following areas: Childcare, Teaching English, Construction, Healthcare, Animal Rights

Cost Description: 

A US$97 application fee (fully transferable) will secure your place on the program, with your program fee due for payment twelveweeks before you begin your placement. You only pay your application fee once and then you can access any of GVN's volunteer programs over the next 5 years.

Once your application fee is paid the remainder of the cost for your time in the Guatemala program varies depending on how long you would like to volunteer for. Placements are from 1 weeks to 24 weeks.
