MYEO - dynamic volunteering opportunities in South Africa
Description
It is a well known fact that South Africa is a growing country after apartheid has been
abolished, but we still require assistance from outside countries in many areas. One major area of concern is the welfare of children, woman and the aged, but we lack the
human resources to enable us to attend to this aspect effectively. This is a why the efforts of volunteers are extremely critical and a great benefit to our country and society as a whole.
We as MYEO-SA have associated ourselves with various organizations who are desperately
in need of volunteers.
Highlights
You will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of intern programs during your stay in Cape Town:
*Children's Hospital:
The mission of this hospital is to provide nursing and medical care, in a homely and loving environment, for infants and children recovering from acute medical conditions and are for social or medical reasons, unable to return to their own homes.
*School for Disabilities:
This school seeks holistically educate and the unique abilities and desires of each of its students keeping in mind their transition from childhood to adulthood. We also pledge to assist every individual to develop their learning skills and attitudes and to achieve their independence to the best of their ability.
*Development Association:
This organization is committed to the social and economic development of Cape Town
communities. With the ultimate goal of establishing stable family and community life
for all inhabitants regardless of age working towards and equitable and just society.
*Frail Care Center:
This service if offered to indignant, homeless, previously disadvantaged aged, and frail people who have found residency in the center.
*Animal Sector:
Animal Hospital volunteer opportunities, and working at a horse care unit.

fantastic program
MYEO-SA is a very caring organization. There staff are available 24/7 and will see to your needs. They are professional and yet fun. This program has really taught me so much. How humble the people SA is and most of them are so warm and caring.
If you are looking for a lif changing experience I suggest you enroll NOW! They have the most beautiful landscapes, diverse cultures and so much to see in one city. CAPE TOWN is known as the MOTHER CITY and I will definetly return to the city.
