AV - Volunteer Programs in Thailand

Come and volunteer for AV in Thailand! AV has been sending 18-24 year olds to developing countries since 1993. Their Thailand program places volunteers in villages around the Maekok and Fang River Basins, where they will help teach English to young children in the area. For 8 weeks, volunteers will help out the Thai English teachers in public schools, to assist with pronunciation as well as arts and crafts, and sports. They also offer a shorter 5-week program in Northern Thailand for those who just can’t find the time.
